I came across this video from the fabulous Jen from A Broom and the Moon which is an information packed guide to cleansing, charging and consecrating crystals. I absolutely adore crystals and have them everywhere in my home and garden. One of my memories of my Italian psychic mother is of her tucking a piece of Tiger’s Eye beneath my pillow to protect me as I slept. many people believe that crystals amplify energy. There are general principles around cleansing, charging and consecrating any artefact we intend to use for ritual purposes, but as Jen points out, it’s also worth digging around and doing a bit of research on any one particular crystal. Not all of them like water, and some fade in direct light for example. Start with the crystals you feel drawn towards and research into their special properties. Even that can be amazingly revealing!

This hymn of gratitude and worship by Z Budapest is one of my absolute favourite songs to sing. I’ve sung it my workshops, by a full moon beside the ancient well on my land along with friends joining me in an impromptu celebration of the divine, at ceremonies marking the passing of beloved friends and frankly, when I just feel like it! Singing is an incredibly powerful thing to do as to do it, we literally have to vibrate. Sound is pure vibration, and we can use the songs we sing as people have since the dawn of time, to lift our souls and inspire us and also to connect with others.

An absolute brilliant short documentary on the Winter Mind Body and Spirit Festival which took place in London on the numerologically significant 11 11 11. You can actually feel the amazing energy as you watch it. I wanted to share it with you in case you didn’t get a chance to go as you can still get a vibe of the whole thing, and also because this also marks a personal milestone. You’ll see me on the main stage here as one of the speakers who opened the event as I was there leading a workshop on Quantum Creating. Believe it or not, the idea of talking to a big crowd absolutely terrified me, which is why I agreed to do it. I’m always saying how we need to continually stretch ourselves, challenge and grow and the very moment I was asked to do it, a voice in my head shouted, ‘Say no!’ which is exactly why I said yes. And I am so glad I did. I truly do believe that we are here to support each other in evolving the whole, and shared with my workshop group that they were helping me grow beyond a fear that had set in. So I hope it inspires you to say yes when you might want to say no out of fear to something that you would actually be really glad you did.

But even if that software could pick up that image of the apple you were thinking about and show it on a screen, it still couldn’t help scientists locate the you that is choosing to think about the apple.
