Does cheating show up in the brain?
A clip from a Dr. Phil show where three men with very different attitudes towards cheating undergo brain scans to see what the scans might reveal. The results are mixed, with the expert on hand explaining that all sorts of things actually feed into our behaviour and not just brain activity. Other research shows that any repeated behaviour generates a network of neural pathways and can become addictive. We can control and change our behaviour, however, and that in turn changes our brain. The way our actual brain works does influence us, but it doesn’t over rule the influence of our mind or our spirit.
