Optimism is all about seeing the glass of life half full – but if you didn’t know, here’s a one minute brief on the benefits it brings. If you’re wondering if people live longer because they are optimistic or are optimistic because they live longer, maybe it’s more important to know that optimism can be learned. You can literally train your brain to look on the bright side and as you do, you change how your mind works. Just for a month, just try and replace every negative thought with a positive or neutral one. Why a month? To give your brain time to adjust to a new way of thinking.
